This is an issue that has ‘dogged me’ for decades. I always thought the US would be closed for me because of my foolish actions as a child which resulted in a criminal record. Over the years, I have missed out on close friends’ weddings, avoided work events in the US and more recently business opportunities. I asked friends with lawyers to help guide me. I found many unreliable sources of information and had in truth given up all hope for this lifetime of ever setting foot on US soil. That all changed when I took control of my google search and looked at the reviews of Davies Legal. Could they truly have the empathy and skill to help me? This is something that I am not proud of and to my amazement the excellent Associate Emily was truly out of this world. Firstly, she listened, really listened and helped me get over the astonishment that we could actually put together the application. Their expert team was superb. No stone was left unturned. I was coached ahead of a potentially nerve-racking interview. I was calm because I knew every detail of what to expect thanks to the superb prep ahead of time. Although my application has taken months to conclude it was worth the investment of time and cost incurred. I now have a 5 year visa and I will drop in on the friends I have not visited, explore business opportunities and explore what the states has to offer.
